About
My philosophy and approach is to help people uncover perceptions and attitudes they may not be aware of, that are holding them back. By doing so, they can make fundamental shifts in their thinking and behaviour, and offer their best contribution in all areas of their lives, shining personally and professionally.
While working in a corporate environment, I realized many people were surviving and not thriving, seeing work as a means to an end. It dawned on me that there was an opportunity to support others to derive meaning and enjoy their lives whatever their context, and not wait for the time when they had “arrived” somewhere else.
Personally, I have a deep love of learning, and it infuses my life. I have a passion for horses and horse riding, along with spending meaningful time with family and friends.
professional experience
I have been coaching for 15 years following a career in the corporate world for 20 years. I held key leadership roles, spanning strategic and operational business areas. This provided a thorough understanding of working in business and the organisational dynamics that go with that for leaders.
I have over 2 500 hours of coaching experience, at all levels in organisations and am one of approximately 1 000 world-wide Master Certified Coach’s (MCC) accredited through the International Coach Federation (ICF).
I am passionate about developing coaching as a profession and am the Director of Training for The Ontological Coaching Institute, co-leading the 18 month Certified Ontological Coaching and Leadership Programme in South Africa, the USA and Europe.
